The movie is about to start. Don't forget your snacks and find a good seat where you can get a comfortable view of the screen. Not too close and not too far. Perfect!
Mr. Pierce nodded his head and said. Well, I would need your parents to sign off on it. Occasionally, I need people to help out with cleaning up the theater after a showing.
Jared was thrilled and said he could not wait since he wanted to see the film so badly. Mr. Pierce then decided to see how serious Jared was about getting a job and earning it. He offered Jared the opportunity to be his guest to watch the film. Mrs. Pierce did not like the genre of the newest blockbuster and preferred not to watch it. Jared could not believe his luck and said that would be awesome and even better was that he could then earn a few bucks to stay caught up on all that latest films.
Mr. Pierce was glad that Jared was not trying to play him and just mooch off him. Mr. Pierce clocked out and turne over duties to his assistant. He proceeded to pay for Jared and himself as well as some snacks and concessions. Hurrying to their seats, the show was ready to start. Jared thanked Mr. Pierce and the movie started and was just incredible. Jared could not stop talking about it afterwards. Mr. Pierce enjoyed it too.
The following day, Jared brought in his paperwork from his parents and completed the process to get a part time job. Mr. Pierce said he had to continue to do well in school. Jare nodded and shook his hand. Jared worked at the theater through high school.
