Sophia laughed and was happy to get a few moments with Martin to herself. She love Adriana but it was tough for them as a couple without getting a chance to just talk about other things then paying the bills, school for Adriana, work, and all the other hectic things in their lives.

Martin and Sophia. Sophia and Martin. Partners in crime (well, that is a saying, but they are not literally committing crimes). Serious when they need to be and silly and fun when hanging out alone.

Did I say like a romcom or stereotypical date night romantic movie? Sure enough before even getting a chance to celebrate the evening with a kiss, there is an unmistakable thud of a door.

Adriana was supposed to be asleep so that mommy and daddy could actually spend some time together alone. As much as it was a bummer that the evening turned out this way, it is hard to view Adriana as anything but a welcome interruption.
